Lingusamy while speaking about the romance in the film Paiyya said,” Paiyya is a journey story. Unexpectedly Karthi meets Thamanna and travels with her to Mumbai. Since Karthi is with Thamanna, the whole journey is so pleasant for him.
He starts loving Thamanna one sided. He will share this love matter with a girl friend in Chennai. One day is girl friend phones and asks him,” How far are you both”.He says,” I think 500 kilo meters.” She in turn says,” You idiot. I asked how far you both are.” For this Karthi says,” We can feel the ice and fire which is behind our back. In the similar way we both are.” Lot of such one sided love dialogues will be there in this journey film.
